TQR is looking for a forward-thinking, collaborative, and experienced Sales Manager to join a dynamic, high-growth company in the Chessington area. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position will be an office-based role with a portion of the timespent on the road seeing new and existing clients and sites.

We are looking for someone with experience in the distribution sector ideally with knowledge in hospitality or retail. However transferable skills will work and my client are very open to this. You will manage a team of 8 people as well as the larger accounts,so having outstanding interpersonal skills are essential.

**What is the aim of the role**

To create and build on a sales strategy that achieves the company business plan and required profitability and ensuring that our customer service is outstanding.

**What will you be doing in the role?**
- Accurately forecast sales revenues with the Sales Director.
- Personally identify and convert new commercially viable opportunities and effectively manage existing customer group. Grow and maximise existing business opportunities and give a special focus to high value accounts.
- Grow a sales team and nurture consultative sellers to close deals at the highest ratio possible. To happen when point 2 is well managed.
- Mentor, motivate and lead a high performing and growing sales/business development team.
- Identify clients' needs whilst demonstrating an excellent level of service through good product knowledge. Develop relationships with face to face and electronic means.
- Design, build and execute an effective pipeline to drive new business to meet monthly targets.
- Liaise with the Marketing Manager to produce comprehensive marketing material including annual specials offers and other relevant publications.
- Manage social media through our website, twitter, Lined In and Instagram to maximise our positioning and followers.
- Ensure that payments for sales are in line with company targets and are managed so our debt profile is minimised.
