**BDM / Business Development Manager - Ballymena, Northern Ireland - circa £40,000 plus package**

We are currently recruiting a BDM / Business Development Manager for a growing transport & logistics company who have recently acquired another organisation as they continue to expand their customer base. They are looking for a new BDM / Business DevelopmentManager with a proven track record to join their team to help develop and source new opportunities. Based in Ballymena in Northern Ireland this role would suit someone who is either looking for an opportunity to progress their career or someone more experiencewho wants to take on a new sales challenge.

**The Job role**:
As Business Development Manager / BDM you will have the following roles and responsibilities:

- Develop new business as well as build on current existing clients
- You will visit customers and develop and strengthen relationships
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and promote the company

**The Requirements**:
To be suitable for the role Business Development Manager / BDM you will ideally have the following:

- Experience within the industry in a similar business development, account management or sales role
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and developing new customers
- You will present yourself well, be articulate and dynamic as well as being a personable team player
- You will also have good tenure and longevity within your previous business development roles
- A driving license is required for this position

**The Package**:

- Salary circa £40,000 - salary can be more dependent on experience
- Package can be negotiated dependent on experience IE Car allowance etc
- 20 days plus bank holidays
- 40 hours per week - flexible working times to suit the role

The role of Business Development Manager / BDM - role is based in Ballymena, County Antrim and is commutable from Larne, Maghera, Kilrea and Belfast
