**Job overview**:
The post holder will be required to work flexibly as part of a team to deliver, set up, monitor the location and collect and inspect a range of equipment held in the centralized Equipment Store. The post holder will be responsible for the cleaning of pressure relieving systems and the delivery and collecting of the equipment. The post holder will be expected to maintain an up-to-date database of the equipment locations. The post holder will support the ward staff/clinical areas to promote the appropriate utilisation of equipment to assist in programmes of care to prevent and treat pressure ulcers and prevent patient harm. They will also be required to take part in service activities as directed by the Trust Medical Engineering Manager or Deputy Medical Engineering Manager.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- 3 GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths or NVQ level 2
- Prepared to pursue self-development

**Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Experience of working in a stores environment and/or working with the public in a customer focused capacity
- Previous experience as a team worker and ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy and dignity
- Keen interest in medical equipment and patient welfare

**Desirable**:

- Understanding of pressure ulcers
