**Job summary**:
This role will involve the processing and decontaminating of pressure relieving mattresses. The Mattresses will be the main stock of devices for the HGS hospital sites.

Each site will require a stable supply of equipment to ensure patient comfort and safety.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
Booking in/out devices on the computer system.

Taking stock checks of available equipment.

Decontaminating used equipment.

Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

3 GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths or NVQ level 2

Prepared to pursue self-development

**Experience**:

Experience of working in a stores environment and/or working with the public in a customer focused capacity

Previous experience as a team worker and ability to work on own initiative.

Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy and dignity

Keen interest in medical equipment and patient welfare
