Media & Policy Intern

**The Role**

This 6-month paid internship will provide you with a unique insight into working within a high-profile Policy & Governance team. It provides you with the opportunity to aid the IoD’s advocacy work by providing general support to the team, particularly in terms of managing communication with journalists and the media.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

Reporting into the IoD’s Lead, Media & Communications, you will:

- Act as the first point of contact for media enquiries, helping to arrange interviews and providing comment from IoD spokespersons.
- Assist with the drafting and issuing of press releases.
- Create content for the IoD social media channels, website, and newsletters.
- Assist with the monitoring of IoD media coverage.
- Undertake short-term projects, particularly with regard to member research, policy and data analysis and general assistance around the IoD’s structured programme of stakeholder engagement.**Who You Are**
