Legal Secretary

**Role responsibilities**
The Legal Secretary will provide administrative and secretarial support in the conveyancing department, working for one fee-earner to help progress their caseload of freehold /leasehold sales and purchases and remortgages from instruction to completion.
The role is fast paced but this is a collaborative, positive working environment with real opportunities to positively impact on both the clients and the firm. There are other support staff in this team that you would be working alongside, but you will work one-on-one with your Fee-Earner.
**Person specification**
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Assistant who are proficient in the conveyancing process in a support role from file opening all the way through to post completion work and file closing. Experience such as drafting completion statements, preparing files for exchange etc is ideal, and if you have experience raising enquiries that would be a bonus.
Accurate typing and strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Case Management Software experience is essential.
