We are looking for a motivated and conscientious secretary to join our private client team based solely at our offices in Darlington.

Our staff are a fundamental part of the service which we provide here at Freeman Johnson. We are therefore keen to hear from anyone who recognises the value of customer care and providing a good service to our clients.

**The Role**

We require a legal secretary to assist our Wills and Probate Team specifically assisting our head of Wills and Probate Department directly at our offices in Darlington. This is a full-time position working between 9.00am
- 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and involving all aspects of secretary support including:

- Providing efficient support to Partners/Fee Earners;
- Liaising directly with clients and other professionals;
- Making appointments and managing diaries;
- Assisting with post, photocopying, scanning, filing and file management;
- Undertaking administrative tasks including document sorting and paying disbursements.

**Requirements**:
You will be highly organised and enthusiastic with the ability to multitask and be able to work as part of a team and independently. You should be comfortable working under pressure, be able to work efficiently and accurately and be confident, professional and courteous when dealing with clients.

Previous experience of working in a private client department and/or knowledge of a case management system would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be offered to the successful applicant.

Salary dependent on experience. Some benefits only available after period of continuous employment.
