An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with experience of working with people with learning disabilities and their families, to lead the Therapies team as Head of Therapies in Ealing Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD).

As Head of Therapies for CTPLD you will lead our team of Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in delivering high quality care to our local population in Ealing. You will innovate and motivate the team in our shared goal of improving health and lives of our client group.

The post holder will be part of senior leadership team including Psychologists, Psychiatry, Nursing and Therapies, and act as a source of expertise on the assessment and management of conditions to patients, carers, and other health professionals.

As Head of Therapies you will manage a small caseload of adults with learning disabilities with complex care needs. Delivering high quality care in partnership with our colleagues from the Local Authority Learning Disability Team, GP’s and Primary Care colleagues, Acute Hospital inpatient services and local supported living and residential service providers. You will provide supervision and leadership to our therapies team and contribute to helping our CTPLD service and our Trust to improve standards of care for people with Learning disability.
