We are proud to be partnering with an International Human Rights Organisation to find a temporary, Community Organising Assistant for at least 3 months with hybrid working options.

The role will be focussed on the charity's recently-launched Anti-Racism Network, working with colleagues, activists and partners to help deliver maximum impact on racial justice in the UK. They will use expert knowledge in working with activists, and in intersectional anti-racism, community organising and activism, to enable activists to be centrally involved in the charity's work, to reach new audiences and to be champions for racial justice in their communities.

The Community Organiser is a pivotal role, providing administrative, event and project support to the Community Organising Unit and Head of CORE in their work towards creating a bigger, bolder, more diverse and connected human rights movement in the UK.

You will manage and support the Anti-Racism Network; support, develop, organise and mobilise activists to maximise impact in the charity's racial justice work; build relationships internally and externally; develop and deliver training, workshops and other events; create Terms of Reference and a communications plan for the new network.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and manage the newly-launched Anti-Racism Network Build relationships and develop activist leadership Organise and mobilise activists to support the charity's racial justice work Coordinate/facilitate meetings, training sessions and workshops Support the development of activist-led campaigns Create a communications plan and Terms of Reference for the Anti-Racism Network
You will also support the delivery of large-scale activist events, projects and conferences, training events as well as setting up and facilitating webinars

This is an exciting opportunity with a renowned organisation and this will be a 3-4 month role with an immediate start.
