We're on the lookout for a motivated Greenhouse/Warehouse Assistant to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards in our operations.

**Job Description**:
As a Greenhouse/Warehouse Operative, you'll play a vital role in our day-to-day operations, taking care of our plants and warehouse facilities. You'll be responsible for tasks like plant maintenance, inventory management, and order fulfillment. We're seeking a reliable, hardworking team player who shares our passion for plants and horticulture.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help look after our greenhouse plants, including watering, feeding, and pruning
- Keep an eye on greenhouse conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and light levels, and make adjustments as needed
- Assist with transplanting, potting, and propagation of plants
- Keep track of inventory and help organize and store products and supplies
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with care, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery
- Load and unload shipments with caution to protect plants and products
- Keep the greenhouse and warehouse clean, tidy, and organized
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times
- Work well with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by supervisors

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a greenhouse, warehouse, or similar environment is a plus
- Basic understanding of plants and horticulture practices
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
- Good organization and time management skills
- Able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg)
- Comfortable working in different temperature and humidity conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from our workplace (We are based in Bayford, but not near the train station)

**Salary**: £11.08-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
