We are a Hereford based event catering company and street food restaurant who are looking for a flexible finance assistant to join our growing team. The role will predominantly be remote but you may be occasionally be required to come to our office in Hereford. The role provides administration, processing and bookkeeping support in order to maintain efficient running of the Finance Department.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Digital filing of receipts and purchase invoices
- Raising and processing purchase invoices on the company’s accounting system
- Responsibility for ensuring receipts for company debit card payments are submitted
- Reviewing and processing staff expenses
- Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts
- Undertaking other finance administrative tasks
- Working for the benefit of the whole organisation
- Complying with company policies
- Keeping up to date with the activities of the organisation

**Personal Specification**

**Essential**
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skills
- Professional experience of general administrative and finance tasks
- High level of numeracy and financial awareness
- A high level of computer literacy and knowledge of IT systems
- Ability to work independently, flexibly and to use own initiative to solve problems proactively
- Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage workloads, prioritise and work to deadlines
- Ability to work with complete confidentiality
- Ability to work as part of a small team

**Desirable**
- Experience of Xero and Dext
- AAT Qualification of Level 3 or higher
- Experience/knowledge of the industry we work within

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 6 per week

**Salary**: £13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
