Machine Attachments Team Leader

The Loose Lifting Team Leader will report to the Compliance Manager and is a key role in the delivery of reliable plant attachments and supporting equipment sent out to hire.

**Your business as usual will be doing one or all of these**:

- Manage and oversee the Machine attachments and ancillary items department to ensure compliance with all relevant safety, technical and quality standards.
- Ensure repairs are carried out on damaged stock where necessary.
- Monitor and check Pre-Delivery Inspection’s (PDI’s) are conducted correctly and recorded.
- Manage the picking and loading of hire ancillary items.
- Ensure and monitor H&S compliance.
- Liaise with the hire team and advise of any short falls or change in hire numbers that maybe required.
- Manage all hire assets / stock, to ensure they are stored in the yard in a tidy and orderly manner.
- Check off all returned hire assets and process them correctly.
- A full valid driving licence
- A management or team leading qualification with two years’ experience of leading teams
- Engineering, Plant Technician, or similar qualifications
- Good knowledge of the importance of the maintenance of lifting attachments.
- Good knowledge of LOLER and PDI requirements
- Good ICT skills
- Excellent communication and IT literate
- Methodical approach to solving problems
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills

Hours of work are a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.
