**So, where do i fit in?**
- As a Billing Lead you’ll work alongside our Account Health Managers and Specialists. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day prioritisation of various billing activities, ensuring that exceptions are handled in a timely manner and that monthly KPIs are achieved and exceeded. You’ll ensure that bills are issued automatically by our billing system, and closely monitor our manual billing ensuring that bills are processed accurately and timely with charges and discounts correctly applied and support our Billing Specialists to resolve any issues that may occur.
As a part of this role, you’ll be able to identify any billing system issues and trends and manage these issues with the relevant system providers to ensure these are resolved. You’ll be hands on with testing, and facilitating the implementation of system fixes and improvements, working with our Quality Assurance Team to ensure that new functionality and products do not adversely impact existing functionality.
A key part of this role will be ensuring that our billing processes are fully compliant. You’ll work with our Customer Operations and Compliance Teams to recongise any issues and work proactively to solve them.
You’ll take ownership of key billing performance reports, providing our management Team with performance statistics, commentary, and plans of action to improve performance. You’ll support the Data & Insight function to improve the level of insight into billing performance at all stages of the customer journey.
Other duties include:

- Supporting on the creation of training material and Specialist development within Customer Operations, working with Learning &
Development to progress Specialists from basic to complex query and exception management through coaching and 1-1s.
- Key point of contact for billing queries and escalations, investigating difficult problems, whilst working with and supporting
Specialists to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Documenting processes and policies to ensure consistency in approach from Specialist level to the Senior Leadership team.

**Have I got what it takes?**
- As a Billing Lead, you’ll be a rapid learner and able to build a quick understanding of new systems and processes and be self-motivated to improve our processes and performance within the Billing Team.
You’ll be a strong communicator and enthusiastic to speak and cooperate with our Specialists, Leaders and our customers when required.
A large part of this role will be reporting so it’s essential you’ll able to use data and reports to identify trends and build efficiencies.
