We are looking for a dedicated Purchasing Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, to provide high-quality service to our business and customers across the country.

The Role
As a Purchasing Assistant, you will undertake a range of activities to support our supply chain and procurement team.
Specifically, you will process purchase orders and manage facilities, site and factory orders across a range of order systems, including our MRP system.
Providing excellent administrative support, you will manage day-to-day supply chain enquiries, liaise with internal teams regarding order requirements and manage deliveries.
**Additionally, you will**:
- Provide support on cost saving initiatives
- Liaise with suppliers to report corrective action
- Resolve failed or damaged deliveries
About You
**To join us as a Purchasing Assistant, you’ll need**:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a fast-paced purchasing environment
- The ability to deal with high product volumes and remain calm under pressure
- A methodical and logical approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to nurture and build strong relationships, both internally and externally
