Sales Ledger Specialist

This role is best suited for someone who has at least 1 year of sales ledger experience and is looking to pursue their professional qualification.

**Job Purpose**: As a Sales Ledger Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the management accountant, senior management accountant, and finance manager in the production of monthly accounts and maintaining clean balance sheet reconciliations.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Sales invoicing, process customer remittances, credit notes, RTIs, and RTCs
- Manage remittances, including posting and allocation
- Aged Debtors reporting and resolve related queries
- Process finance journals
- Ensure monthly expenses are processed according to policy and submitted to payroll
- Handle credit card balances, recharging when necessary
- Manage cashbook payments and bank postings
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations
- Allocate supplier BACS payments
- Initiate cashbook payments through the bank
