Purchasing Assistant

Due to our continued growth we are looking to recruit an additional member to join the current team of 4 to manage inventory and to liaise with suppliers in order to achieve all required service levels.
**Main responsibilities and duties of the role will include**:
1. Inventory management to agreed value and availability level.
2. Raising purchase orders and goods receipt information
3. Review of excess and dead stock
4. Effective internal and external communication regarding stock management
5. Analysis of third-party supplier invoices and forwarding to Finance for payment.
6. General administrative support as required
**The right person for this role will have**:
- A high level of English, spelling and grammar.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent administrator skills - accuracy / attention to detail.
- Able to use own initiative confidently, and deliver high standard of work under pressure.
- Confident telephone manner
- Experience in an administrative roles or purchasing would be an advantage.
**Salary**: From £22,500.00 per year
