You will work closely with the Leadership Team and will report into our Head of Finance. The role will be suitable for someone open to all sorts of finance, commercial, and operational challenges.

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the below within a small finance team. You should have a good understanding of all procedures and be able to manage and produce monthly reports.

**Responsibilities**

Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Processing invoices and reconciling purchase invoices /credit notes
- Entering and processing payments
- Reconciling Supplier Statements, Credit Card statements and monthly statements
- Creating supplier accounts and filing account forms
- Assist with Sales Ledger including sending invoices and statements to customers
- Dealing with purchase ledger queries internally and externally
- Assisting the Head of Finance & Financial Controller with the month end process
- Assist in the Cashflow & Working Capital management of the organisation
- Maintain Project Costing reports
- Work closely with operational and sales teams on KPIs
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Assist with management of the preparation of the company’s budget
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken
- Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans

**Requirements**:

- You will ideally be part-qualified/qualified or qualified by experience
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role
- Proficient user of SAGE
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- Experience with the integration of finance systems would be an advantage
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles

Training in our systems, processes, and industry will be provided to the successful applicant

Working hours 08.00 - 17.00
