Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk to join our team. As an Office Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks to support the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time position with regular office hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and organizing documents
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information or assistance
- Assist in managing office supplies and inventory
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail or packages
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software
- Assist in coordinating office events or meetings

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in typing and data entry with excellent accuracy
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
