Stock Administrator

**Job Duties**
Hamilton Gas Products Ltd was established in 1971 and is one of the leading wholesale distributors of gas equipment and appliances throughout the UK and Ireland.
The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of goods inwards including the following:
- Processing purchase orders
- Deliver goods on the accounting system
- Follow up any delivery discrepancies with suppliers
- Chase outstanding orders and any other queries with suppliers
- Liaising with transport companies regarding deliveries
- Processing all stock adjustments on accounting system
- Complete weekly stock counts and report results to the Financial Director
- Overall responsibility for all stock movements to ensure any problems are identified and rectified accordingly
- Play a key role leading and organising the bi-annual stocktakes
- To maintain a clean environment and ensure that there is no contravention of the Health and Safety Policy
- Other ad hoc administration tasks
**Qualifications/experience**
- Experience of working in a fast-paced retail, distribution or manufacturing environment
- Pass in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
- Good computer skills
- Strong communication skills and a common sense approach
- Good attention to detail
- You will have commitment and appreciation of health and safety issues in the workplace.
