**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
The role will form part of the Building Products division, offering valuable and flexible support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- This is an important role within BP, with primary responsibility to:

- Variance analysis between standard costings and purchases invoices
- Stock count reconciliation
- Calculating period end GRNI
- Periodically reviewing purchase invoices to determine whether standard costings need to be adjusted, or whether we are using different sources
- Reviewing stock boked onto our system is complete and accurate
- Bank reconciliations
- Journal posting and control for our Paving business
- Data manipulation that will help with month end and KPI reporting
- Intercompany postings and cost investigation
- Analysis of entertaining, travel and motor spend and circulation to MD monthly
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required

**KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB**:

- Good excel knowledge is essential
- Team player with good communication skills
