**Field Services Planner - London**

Reporting directly to the Ops Manager Greenford the role requires someone with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to constantly improve the Field Services planning operation.

The purpose of this role is to maximise the efficiency of the field services operations across 3 London Depots, ensuring all activities are planned and controlling the Field Services resources and resourcing levels (both fleet and personnel). You will produce both daily and monthly Field Services plans that are efficient, practical and achievable and assign Field Service Resources accordingly to meet our customer requirements/operational KPI’s.

You will also support the site by developing and producing accurate forecasting plans (activities, drivers and fleet) to ensure service levels are continually monitored and maintained and highlighting any areas of concern

The Field Services Planner is also required to ensure that all transport plans are clearly communicated to all necessary parties and maintain regular contact with the Field Operations Managers/Supervisors and Customer Care providing updates with the progress of the live Field Services operation.

**KEY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (will include but not limited to)**
- Plan all relevant Field Service Activities utilising the Paragon Routing & Scheduling System, ICON and Masternaut and Geotab systems to meet internal and external customer requirements and operational KPIs.
- Liaise with customer care to ensure that we maximise the utilisation of our Field Services resources and that the required levels of work/manifesting are produced.
- Liaise with Customer Care with regards to providing planning information for communication with both internal and external customers in relation to delivery/delivery time notifications, delays and possible issues with deliveries/collections.
- Ensure the daily schedule is checked ensuring additional work is booked in and any changes made as needed.
- Monitor the live plan and liaise with the Operations Manager at the 3 London depots in relation to delays and possible issues with deliveries/collections and support in adjusting the live plans accordingly.
- Responsible for the planning of all additional routes and other work which is required to support the operation.
- Assisting the business by reviewing and investigating ways in which we can improve efficiency, service and make cost savings for the business.
- Support in resolving Customer queries / complaints that relate to the site planner areas of responsibility
- Support in producing transport department KPI’s and understand all agreed Transport KPI’s
- Work with internal customers to support them in dealing with planning issues and how to work together to resolve them.
- Assist with centralised review of product setup and activity time reviews to ensure accuracy of the plans produced

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE**
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexible approach with regards to working hours
- Previous Transport, Route or Resource Planning experience would be beneficial
- Good geographic/and road network knowledge of London would beneficial
- A good understanding of the current NRS operations, contracts and products would be highly beneficial
- Able to work under pressure in a time-critical environment.
- Experience of working in a busy, customer focused operational environment
- Able to use Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Previous experience of working with Transport Planning and Management Systems, ideally Paragon Routing & Scheduling Software and Masternaut or Geotab would be advantageous.
- Well organised with an acute attention to detail.
- Must have excellent communication skills and a clear and confident telephone manner.
- Able to develop relationships with others (both internal and external)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
