We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Neuro Psychologist to join our team at The Laurels Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Lincolnshire. This position for 1 day per week.
The team at The Laurels work together to develop person-centred, evidence based rehabilitation care plans that aim to maximise the individual’s independence and recovery. The service provides accommodation for 12 residents and there is a garden, which residents are able to help to maintain and a training kitchen to support rehabilitation.
The interdisciplinary team consists of a Rehabilitation Consultant, Neuropsychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Support is also provided by experienced rehabilitation and therapy assistants. The team at The Laurels work together to develop person-centred, evidence based rehabilitation care plans that aim to maximise the individual’s independence and recovery.
The service has a lift to all floors, allowing wheelchair access throughout the unit. Located two miles from Lincoln City Centre, The Laurels offers residents easy access to occupational and education resources, social and leisure activities and the GP practice.
**What you'll be working**:
We can be flexible but you will 1 day per week, between Monday and Friday
**What you'll be doing**:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical psychology input within The Active Care Group to service users with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions
- Liaise with internal and external professionals, family members and service users
- Engage in relevant research and advise other professionals as appropriate
**What you'll have**:
