**Job description**:
Your role will be managing the team that project-manages change for the Output Services Group (OSG). We output 110 million letters annually on behalf of DVLA and other Government departments. Any changes required to letters must be risk assessed and formally approved before implementation. You will create Jira tickets to manage these tasks, prioritising and allocating them to your team as appropriate.

You will oversee the change journey, ensuring steps are completed in a timely manner, that quality testing is thorough and the proposed final results are compliant with our standards before seeking sign-off from the business.

This is a busy role and you will be required to manage the multitude of internal and external changes that impact OSG daily. As the communicator between OSG and the wider business, you will introduce new output transactions within OSG to support our stakeholders with the provision of their services.

OSG is a 24 hours, 5 days a week operation serving both internal business areas but also wider government departments such as Home Office, DVA, DVSA and GDS. The successful applicant will be required to work across both OSG Sites, the role will be predominantly standard core times. The nature of the role may also attract elements of travel within the UK and overseas.

**Responsibilities**

**_ Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:_**
- Ensuring the management, monitoring and implementation of all change requests against agreed deadlines.
- Managing the relationship between OSG Change & Testing Team and wider Agency stakeholders. Ensuring all communications are accurate and that the reporting method is agreed and aligned with the expectation of the stakeholder.
- Ensuring the expectation of the customer is satisfied through the development of detailed requirements, delivery planning and testing strategies.
- Prioritising change demands on OSG which add the most value to the business and maintain / manage customer expectations effectively.
- Line management of a small team.

**Additional Information**

**Person specification**:

- OSG are looking for a committed, strategic-focused individual with strong leadership skills to work within a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. You will work in both an office and industrial environment so must be comfortable with both of these.
- You will have previous line management experience with the ability to work with integrity and look after your team’s workload and wellbeing. You are clear in communicating instructions and expectations, listening to and acting on feedback, and answering questions to ensure thorough understanding.
- You are capable of managing resources and priorities flexibly to accommodate deadlines and workloads. There will be times when you are working away from your team so you will entrust them to progress with tasks in your absence.
- You will be confident and authentic when communicating with stakeholders and managing expectations.
