**Role Overview**

Fantastic opportunity to join a newly created role to help execute the clinical strategy of the Cromwell Hospital. As a Medical Staffing Officer, You will be able to develop and deliver exceptional engagement and service to strengthen practice privileges with all Consultants and support our RMOs with a view to contributing to commercial and service goals as well as having full autonomy and accountability for end-to-end Consultant and Resident Medical Officer (RMO) relationship and stakeholder management.

**What you’ll do**:

- Work in close partnership with the Consultant Development Team to rapidly engage, on-board and support a designated cohort of consultants for the duration of their time at the Cromwell in the development of our Clinical Strategy.
- Work with the Medical Director, Lead RMOs and Modern Matrons to develop a Consultant/RMO engagement strategy, with agreed performance objectives
- Work with the Lead RMOs to attract, onboard and retain RMO staff to stabilise the RMO workforce and eliminate agency spend.
- Oversee and attend educational events designed to enhance networking between Consultants and RMOs including the monthly Monday lunchtime teaching sessions and evening meetings.
- Day to day oversight of Consultant and RMO rotas to ensure successful delivery of clinical strategy.
