**Introduction**

Wefco, situated in Britannia Works in Gainsborough, are specialists in the manufacture of storage tanks, pressure vessels, refinery equipment & other bespoke bulk storage solutions.

A fantastic opportunity has recently opened for a Stores Person.

As a Stores Person the main duties will be to take deliveries and manage stock levels but also be responsible for receiving and dispatching goods from the stores, storing goods received appropriately and resolving discrepancies in the delivery of goods.

This position will work closely with the Procurement manager, Junior Buyer, Planner, and Inspector roles; to ensure all goods received are to the right specification and quality and make ready for issuing to the relevant departments.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Receiving all deliveries and checking goods are received in correct quantity and in sufficient quality
- Keeping detailed records of goods received
- Book in goods and materials on in-house system against Purchase Order
- Unloading deliveries via forklift
- Working with yard and Logistic teams to safely offload large items via crane.
- Organising deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly
- Picking for jobs
- Ensure correct stock levels are upheld
- Reporting late deliveries to Procurement Manager
- Quarantine non compliant items if not sufficient
- Place parts in relevant locations on the shop floor in a timely manner
- Monitor deliveries due to come in
- Review all released jobs for shortages and review against planned deliveries
- Collate and issue fit out lists and test kit components for upcoming jobs against job schedule
- Assist with outbound shipping
- Ensure housekeeping of stores and goods inwards areas.
- Report non conformities
- Perform related duties as assigned by Procurement Manager
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Experience in a similar role/ industry
- Compentant user of computers & microsoft Office programmes.
- Experienced driving forklifts.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
