You'll be joining a friendly team who work closely with each other, all with the shared goal of delivering excellent patient care and a supportive but ambitious working environment.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Admin team. Ensuring all staff work effectively and to the required level of competency. Conduct annual appraisals for reception staff and regular one-to-ones to identify training and development needs.

Monitor annual leave for Admin staff and provide a working rota on a monthly basis.

Proactively monitor all outpatient clinics to make sure all are booked and highlight any capacity issues to the Performance & Operations Manager or Specialty Manager. Ensure all clinics are cached up on a daily basis.

Lead on, and support the reception team, with the booking of clinics when necessary.

Ensure all clinics are covered with the appropriate staff.

Alongside the Performance & Operations manager, Specialty Manager and Optometry Lead, support the Compiling of individual rotas for the Registrars/Specialty Doctors/Consultants on a monthly basis. Lead on rota compiling in the absence of the Performance & Operations Manager.
