**About us**
M&J Group are a Construction company, established in 1972, M&J Group are now one of the largest specialist construction companies in the UK. Having developed our extensive knowledge of the flat and pitched roofing, we are growing at a rapid rate and are now pleased to be looking for an **Administrator to join the Accounts team **to join us at our head office in Bedford.
**Responsibilities**
- Managing incoming calls for the Accounts team
- Speaking to customers and clients to answer queries and resolve issues
- Data inputting whilst managing documents & spreadsheets
- Reconciling receipts
- General Administrative Duties
Some of the skills that will be required for an administrator working in the account’s team at M&J would be:
**Customer service**: This is one off the most important skills required for an administrator, as it involves interacting with clients, people from within the company at all levels as well as suppliers in a professional and courteous manner.
**Data entry**: This is another skill needed, as it involves entering and updating financial and administrative information into our electronic databases.
**Organisation**: This is a crucial soft skill, as it involves managing multiple tasks, documents, and accounts in an efficient way. M&J are looking for someone with a proactive attitude, with strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task.
**Time management**: This is another important soft skill, as it involves prioritising tasks & being able to meet set deadlines.
**What are we looking for?**
Someone who has an interest in starting a career in Administration, for this role you are ideally happy to work with numbers.
Demonstrate you have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Experience using Microsoft packages especially excel.
The ability to communicate effectively in person as well as over the telephone.
The role is full time in the head office in Bedford, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
