**Job Introduction** Our client is responsible for the coverage of all of the nation’s major sporting events, as well as legendary football strands, high profile documentaries and awards ceremonies; from Wimbledon to Match of the Day. **Role Responsibility**

This includes increased responsibilities in their live event productions, and a greater contribution to their creative output in a wide range of sports and programme strands.

The successful applicant will be expected to lead, motivate and support teams, both in programme situations and across the department’s wider, strategic work. They should be able to produce distinctive content that will be effective on a variety of platforms.

They will need to work effectively with other departments, partners and suppliers, keep up with emerging industry trends, and ensure their content reflects their diverse audiences.

Increased leadership responsibilities will include signing off completed programmes and material for broadcast, and deputising where appropriate for senior team members.

The successful applicant will also be expected to develop and manage positive working relationships with staff, contributors and talent and be able to give constructive feedback.

The successful applicant should be aware of the budget they are working to and will be expected to communicate clearly with Production Management to ensure projects are delivered on budget and meet deadlines.

They will have a working knowledge of the major digital TV platforms along with editorial credibility with the ability to communicate and work alongside editors and producers within TV Sport.
