**General Description**

Reporting to the current self-storage manager you will be required to help secure new self-storage customers and support the existing customer base at Squab Storage Bridgwater. This will be over the phone, as well as on a face-to-face basis.

You will be responsible for supporting sales opportunities from new and existing clients (Both businesses and the general public) and provide exceptional customer service on a daily basis.

You will also be required to carry out tasks to maintain the overall appearance of the self-storage facility.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Providing customers visiting the site with a tour of the facilities ensuring that all key sales points are highlighted and demonstrated clearly.
- Managing customer sales and ensuring paperwork, ID checks and any additional sales are handled correctly, and entered into our customer management database.
- Dealing with any customer enquiries relating to their contract or account in a timely manner.
- Generating & sending out invoices, handling payments and chasing overdue accounts
- Following all company procedures and standards relating to HR, Quality and Health & Safety
- Take a flexible approach to working as part of a team, or as an individual and self-driven and confident working alone when applicable.
- Undertaking all other duties as reasonably requested by the Company

**Details**

You will be expected to work 40 hours per week with the capability to work Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

**Person Specification**

This role is suited to an individual that has excellent communication & administration skills, who is friendly, has a ‘can do’ attitude, with an aim of always exceeding customer expectations.

**Essential**

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with both customers & colleagues, both face to face and also on the phone.

Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.

A high level of confidence and resilience in dealing with customer interactions.

IT skills in MS Office and experience in use of IT systems e.g. word processing, Excel, Powerpoint.

**Desirable**

‘Front of house’ sales experience with administration expertise.

Positive approach to learning new software as required.
