**Salary**: £28,399.80 FTE

Grade 7, SCP 26

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week. Monday - Friday: 08.30am - 4.30pm.

Full time 52 weeks or term time (negotiable)

We are Camphill Wakefield; a community land-based residential college. Set within our exceptional 34-acre estate, we have a working farm with a range of animals and stables; a large horticulture garden; together with pottery, têxtiles and woodwork workshops within a purpose-built Hub. We provide a range of life skills and employability pathways to meet our 70 SEND students’ needs, including high quality residential accommodation on our campus and an adult social care service.

We are seeking an experienced **Governance and Policy Officer **who can provide clerkship support for the Board of Trustees and lead on ensuring that all policies, procedures and processes are current, compliant and fit-for-purpose.
- Experience of providing a Clerk to Governors / Trustees service
- Experience of working in a Healthcare or Education environment
- Experience of working with SEND Young People
- Experience of working with controlled documents (such as policies and other statutory documents)
- Knowledge of Governing Body / Trustee procedures
- Knowledge of educational legislation, guidance and legal requirements
- An absolute commitment to confidentiality and discretion
