Halo Recruit are working in partnership with a leading employer based in Luton, to recruit for an experienced **People Advisor **to join their HR team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a brand new position, reporting into the Director of People, and will be responsible for providing a first-class, people centric support to the business.

As a People Partner, you will have a broad knowledge of the human resources function and a real passion for creating a harmonious work environment, ensuring people are at the centre of that.

You will approach work with a compassionate attitude displaying excellent communication skills and encouraging others to do the same. You will be solution focused and not afraid to raise your hand a challenge the status quo. This role will suit a true generalist with proven experience in all areas of HR.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Ensuring HR related policies and procedures are current and compliant with employment legislation.
- Supporting with ER cases and HR queries.
- Liaising with ACAS for early conciliation.
- Supporting on employment tribunal work where required.
- Providing advice and guidance to employees and line managers on issues relating to employment issues.
- Advising line managers and co-ordinating with the Occupational Health provider to manage long term absence and ensure employees' mental and physical wellbeing is suitably supported throughout the employee lifecycle.

**Learning and Development**
- Identify training needs of employees.
- Coaching and developing people managers in HR related areas.
- Creating a suite of HR training for people managers.
- Supporting on Talent Management and Succession Planning initiatives as appropriate.
- Support with the development of the People Assistant and HR Apprentice.

**Resourcing and Recruitment**
- Working with internal stakeholders to identify recruitment needs.
- Company ambassador at job fairs/recruitment events.
- Working with external providers to identify recruitment solutions.
- Support managers on management of probation periods.
- Support on annual appraisals.

- We are ideally looking for someone with a 'can do' attitdue, who is willing to 'roll up their sleeves' to problem solve and get stuck in

The role is working as part of a small team, and will require an indvidual who is able to 'think outside of the box' and be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen.

You will be provided with lots of support and encourgement from the Director of People, as well as being provided with the autonomu to make the job your own.

**Salary and Benefits**

This role is offering a competitive salary of £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependant on experience as well as an excellent benefits package.

**Location**

This is an office based role, based in Luton, Bedfordshire, there is a requirement to travel occasionally to sites within the network, with some overnight stays.

**Hours of Work**

Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm.
