**Role**

Many businesses in the education sector are facing a worrying shortage of qualified teachers. English in Action are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to help address some of the challenges that are present in a post-Covid world still reeling from the effects of Brexit.

A big part of the job will involve exploring new recruitment initiatives, relationship building and promoting the company.

Below is a summary of some of the essential tasks.

1. To identify sources of suitable applicants who are fit for EiA teaching contracts.

3. To plan, organise and book recruitment events and deliver cost-effective solutions.

4. To identify, connect and develop relationships with other organisations who might have teachers interested in working for EiA.

5. Report back to Senior Management on the recruitment prospects and the success, or otherwise, of the various initiatives.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**

1. To assist the Operations Manager in all aspects of the work relating to the recruitment of teachers.

Specifically:

- Someone with suitable experience would be able to assist with interviews. Knowledge of the TEFL industry would be a bonus.

2. To be an effective ambassador for the company in providing a professional, supportive, and friendly relationship with the applicants, resulting in a high appointment rate.

3. To develop the role and implement:

- Cost effective and time saving administrative systems and procedures.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in a complex logístical department.

4. To identify suitable recruitment events and to:

- Plan and attend the event
- Present to interested parties (if required)
- Follow up with interested parties

5. Networking:

- Identify and contact potential partners.
- Maintain and build a database of partner’s contact details.
- Liaise with partners at opportune times of the year and discuss sharing resources.
- Maintain existing relationships whilst pursuing new ones
- Maintain contact with suitable people who are not currently available to work.

6. Flexible working in order to attend (occasional):

- Weekend recruitment events
- Induction and training events

7. The ability to travel (occasionally at short notice):

- Domestically for events, interviews and training.
- Internationally for recruitment, teacher inductions and training.
- By car within the UK (desirable) - the ability to drive in the UK would be a bonus

8. Financial Management. You will need to:

- Manage your own modest budget and plan how to spend it effectively
- Deliver good value for money and be able to justify your decisions using evidence and research

9. Promote the Company
- Attend job fairs, conferences and training venues to promote the company to potential applicants.
- Identify suitable events and secure an invitation to present the company whenever possible.
- Organise your own travel to and from events

Pay: From £22,500.00 per year
