**THE OPPORTUNITY**
A Technical Apprenticeship Coach aims to deliver an effective, impactful learning experience for our learners completing their L3/L4 Digital Infrastructure Engineer / IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professionals apprenticeship.
The Coach will be knowledgable in topics such as Networking Principles, H&S in an IT context, Information Governance & Assurance, Hardware & Equipment and others.
**KEY RESPONSIBLITIES**
- Develop, implement, and conduct learning and assessment services to group learners and aligned with the apprenticeship objectives and outcomes. Enhance the learning experience of learners, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes skill development and community.
- Complete workplace assessments using a range of assessment methods. For example, observation, professional discussions, expert witness testimony.
- Maintain close communication and collaboration with apprenticeship coaches to utilise insights gained through sessions in order to improve the overall learning experience.
- Accurately document learners assessment records and report the success metrics from 1-2-1 interactions into the relevant tracking documents.
- Utilise feedback received from participants to evaluate and assess tutoring sessions, identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to improve the overall quality and effectiveness of future sessions.
- Monitor youth learners’ progress, ensuring learners timely achievement of their qualifications.
- Be responsible for continuously developing learning materials and resources to support delivery needs.
- Support our youth programme.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Highly knowledgable in technical topics such as networking, IT systems & telecoms, hardware, H&S, information governance and assurance.
- Experience working within the IT Help Desk and Support sectors.
- Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about coaching transforming young people’s career journey.
- Experience in teaching/coaching/mentoring.
- Highly creative with a can-do attitude.
- The ability use initiative and meet set timescales.
- UK Drivers License.
- Obtain a degree in a technical field e.g IT systems, Telecoms, Networking
**DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL**
- You hold A1 / TAQA 3 (or equivalent) or prepared to work towards the qualification Teaching qualification.
- City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in supporting Adults and Young People in Essential Skills
