Carry out the function of QinetiQ Civil Flight Organisation (QCFO), Flight Operations Controller. Such that the flying programme is conducted in an efficient manner. This will include communicating with staff, students and other agencies such as Air Traffic, Main Operations and Flight Line Offices to ensure they are kept up to date with flying programme changes

**Carry out for the following**:
1. Man the Operations Desk when QCFO sponsored flying is taking place on the airfield or operating to or from the airfield (including planned out of hours flying).

2. Displaying additional flights information, meteorological information, air traffic and navigation information and NOTAMs on the Operations Room information boards and IT Systems.

3. Use and monitor Flight information’s systems such as Private Radar and Rocket Route

4. Liaison with ATC, ENG, Other Operators, Main Operations and Telemetry to support QCFO flying operations for day-to-day issues.

5. Monitoring of air to ground radios and relaying any flight safety information as necessary.

6. Liaison with aircrew as to their flying requirements and the booking of low level flying areas or practise diversions as directed.

7. Assist in creating and promulgating the Daily Flying Programme (DFP) on internal IT programmes.

8. Ensuring the DFP and electronic flying display is kept up-to-date with any changes to the flying programme.

9. Updating and monitoring Centrik Flight Management System with flight and crew Information where required.

10. Amending all flying related publications.

11. Airfield Driving - transporting aircrew either to or from aircraft or other airfield locations adhering to correct airfield driving and RT procedures.

12. Maintain an individual PDR and meet the objectives/performance standards agreed.
