**Role Purpose**

To provide an accurate and timely payroll service to a growing list of clients.

**Role Objectives**
- Process payroll for a number of clients on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis
- Act as an account manager for client portfolio
- Run and upload pension files to relevant provider
- Deal with any client queries in a quick and efficient manner
- Dealing with starters, leavers, Statutory Leave and Variable elements
- File paperwork and keep up to date records for clients
- Process clients JRS furlough calculations and claims in a timely and accurate manner
- Raise payroll invoices monthly/quarterly and send to each client
- Remaining up to date with government legislation
- Submissions in connection with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
- Reviewing and submitting Covid19 Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) Claims
- Processing redundancy figures

**Your knowledge, skills and experience**

**Required**:

- Experience of working in a payroll bureau style environment
- Experience maintaining and updating multiple pension schemes
- Experience processing multiple client payrolls
- Works well under pressure as working to weekly deadlines
- An eye for detail to challenge any inaccuracies in payroll documents
- Proven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment

**Advantageous**:

- Competent using Star and Sage Payroll,
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Comfortable manually calculating PAYE deductions & Net Pay with workings to show clients

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
