**The role**:
This post offers the opportunity for an experienced and motivated administrator to work as part of the research team exploring ways to reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases linked to the urban and built environment on the TRUUD Project. The project started in October 2019 and is due to finish in September 2024 (with the possibility of an extension). The project has recently started the second phase, designing interventions within the urban system.

**What will you be doing?**:
As an integral member of the Senior Management Team, you will report to the Research Directors, Programme Director and Senior Project Manager providing administrative, project management and practical support to them and the lead researchers working on the project (including in other centres), as well as liaising with other institutions, stakeholders and relevant others. This will involve administrative (including financial) and organisational duties, ensuring the overall efficient day-to-day management of the studies. You will develop a sound knowledge of the projects and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with the study protocols and all relevant governance rules.
- You will have a strong background in delivering administrative processes and systems, preferably in a healthcare/research setting and with experience of supporting research studies.
- Office experience in a higher education or health service environment.
- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary, multi-centre team.
- Good problem-solving skills, with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
