- Work closely with the manufacturing operations team to provide financial analysis, reporting and support for key business decisions
- Conduct variance analysis of actual performance versus budget and forecast, identify key drivers of performance and provide recommendations to improve financial results
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements for the manufacturing operations, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, cost of goods sold, inventory levels and labor utilization, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain standard costing models for manufacturing products, ensuring accurate and timely cost information for management decision-making
- Manage the inventory accounting process, including cycle counts, inventory reconciliation and valuation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of inventory records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain, and finance to identify cost savings and optimization opportunities across the manufacturing operations
- Participate in the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for the manufacturing operations, providing input and support to ensure accurate and achievable financial targets are set
- Continuously monitor and evaluate internal controls related to manufacturing operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to mitigate risks
