Site based role - with some flex for home working (Newark, Nottinghamshire).
This is a brand-new role to the business, and another bold step in their impressive further growth plans
Reporting to the Finance Director, as IT Manager, you will play a key role in the management of all technological assets, developing, driving and delivering the IT strategy for the business in order to achieve its ambitious growth plans.
The successful IT Manager will need to be strategic in approach with the desire and ability to remain technically hands on. Managing a small, experienced IT team that you must be a true leader, taking accountability for the department and building strong workingrelationships at all levels.
This is an outstanding opportunity offering involvement in the 'day to day' responsibilities expected in an efficient IT division but with the opportunity to expand and develop the offering
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Project Management
- Budgetary management for the IT department
- Technical support and guidance to the business to solve any critical issues
- Regularly audit infrastructure and technology to ensure it supports a smooth operation and drives continuous improvements
- Management of the day-to-day operations and IT services
- Mentor, coach, and upskill team members to improve department knowledge and drive continuous effectiveness
- Provide regular status reports and raise issues with senior management
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and 3rd parties to establish good working relationships
- Responsible for business wide GDPR and IT security
- Occasional out-of-hours working for server/network/system upgrades to minimise disruption during business hours
- Keep up-to-date and familiar with the latest IT technologies and trends
We are keen to speak with driven and ambitious IT Leaders who possess the following skills & experience:

- Microsoft Navision/Dynamics, all Windows platforms, Payroll systems
- Demonstrable experience of operating at "IT Manager" level in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and demanding environment
- Can demonstrate both Technical and strategic experience and exposure
- Ability to demonstrate agility and change priorities with a hands-on approach
- Experience delivering transformational technology projects end-to-end and managing stakeholder priorities
- A strong analytical skill set with an ability to think strategically and challenge the status quo
- Strong presentation skills, ability to tell a great story and engage the room
- Internal and external stakeholder management skills and confidence in dealing with Senior Executives
- Experience in successful strategic planning
- Strong leadership credentials and experience in managing others
- Exposure to taking a business through digitalisation
