**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Daily organisation and planning of work requirements to meet all departmental targets and objectives.
- Proof of delivery processing.
- Sub-contractor invoice checking / authorisation.
- Rate checking for customer invoices.
- Recording processes of all documentation.
- Query resolution.
- Recording health and safety statistics for the Transport department and providing feedback to the relevant people.
- Liaise with Transport Managers to ensure employee staffing levels are tracked and recorded appropriately.

**Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills / Knowledge**:

- Excellent IT knowledge (previous experience with accounts processes would be an advantage but not essential).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be a good team player.
- Efficient and a good timekeeper
- From its Port of Middlesbrough base, AV Dawson provides a full freight logistics service, including shipping, rail freight, warehousing and storage, all supported by an extensive road transport fleet. AV Dawson strives to give back to the community in which we operate._
