Working within the IT Hardware space, my client is looking for a Product Brand Manager.

HQ is located in Verwood with a very friendly 'family feel’ culture and great benefits to match - plus a salary of £27,500 - £32,500 + Quarterly bonus scheme

**Role Responsibilities**
- Fully support the Sales Team, our suppliers and customers alike in all regards for the products in your categories; to be the category 'champion’.
- Work with stakeholders to develop and achieve agreed business objectives by aligning your products’ strategy to suit.
- To assume full control of your product categories, including product setup, procurement, management of stock on hand and pricing.
- Be fully aware of daily currency rates and trends in order to make the most effective decisions.
- Coordinate and control all vendor-led rebates, pricing support and discounts with the sales team and other relevant departments.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings.
- Understand how each vendor manages pricing and integrate that understanding with our internal procedures.
- Forecast short and long-term product requirements while maintaining sufficient flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Understand current technologies and be aware of product and technical roadmaps in order to best support the sales team.
- Liaise with both Operations and Finance Teams on current and future purchases to ensure excellent logístical and stock control.
- Produce daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports as required.
- Maintain close interaction with the sales team to maximise opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with all company departments to ensure a complete awareness of your products’ life cycle within the business.
- Manage and coordinate new product launches with manufacturers.
- Quarterly marketing strategy meeting to ensure the correct and timely promotion of your products across various platforms.

**What we ask of you**
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- Must be organised, accurate and operate with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Professional conduct and participation in meetings at all levels.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work to deadlines is a must.
- Have a good level of experience using MS Office Suite - particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Confidence in decision-making are essential. I.T. Distribution is fast-moving so to think quickly and act fast is key.
- IT Hardware knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
