**Role Overview**: FUNDA is a leading provider of educational and recreational activities for children during school holidays. We are currently seeking a team of dedicated and enthusiastic Send Practitioners to join our team. As a Send Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting our holiday camps and childcare services, ensuring that all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), have a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the inclusion and integration of children with SEND within our holiday camps and childcare services.
- Collaborate with the camp organizers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive environment for all children.
- Work closely with children with SEND, understanding their individual needs and providing appropriate support, guidance, and supervision.
- Assist children with personal care, if required, ensuring their dignity and privacy are respected at all times.
- Plan and deliver activities that are inclusive and accessible to all children, adapting them to accommodate different abilities and learning styles.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff members, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to individual children with SEND, including any incidents, observations, and progress.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting children with SEND.
- Follow all health and safety protocols and ensure the well-being of all children during camp activities.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in working with children, especially those with SEND, is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
- Knowledge and understanding of different types of special educational needs and disabilities, as well as strategies to support inclusion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience when dealing with challenging situations.
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the camp and individual children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- A valid first aid certificate and any additional relevant qualifications are advantageous.

Hours and Availability:

- This role is part-time and available during school holidays when our holiday camps and childcare services are in operation.
- Specific hours will vary depending on the venue schedule.
- Additional hours or permanent positions may be available based on performance and the needs of the organization.

**Salary**: £10.50-£13.00 per hour
