**What you will be doing**:
In this role and working in a busy, world-class engineering and manufacturing environment you will look after:

- Operational relationships with suppliers and co-ordinate all activity associated with planning, manufacture, control, delivery and lead time.
- Supplier reviews to ensure that both the suppliers and Rolls-Royce requirements for Quality and Delivery are being achieved.
- Maintenance of component planning data, tooling registers and associated data that will manage demand and stock through the supply chain.
- Process compliance through the use of company standard systems, processes and reports.

You will also be:

- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or have a professional procurement qualification, preferably with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or relevant experience.
- Able to work in a challenging and pressured environment as well as quickly understanding the complex organisations, functions, supply chains, regulation and processes.
- First class communication, influencing and negotiating skills, both internally and externally, and be able to demonstrate commercial awareness.
- Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of SAP ERP systems, or equivalent
