**SHIFT** 40 Hour Week - 3 X Days At 12 Hours. ½ Day At 6 Hours Per Week to fit into current shift pattern

**HOLIDAY** 28 Days Pro Rata Including 8 Days Bank Holidays

**JOB PURPOSE**:
To ensure that resources is allocated and flexed to deliver a quality service to the customer. On Time and In Full, taking account of vehicle efficiencies and KPI’s. Responding to issues decisively and maintaining full lines of communication. Liaising with and developing new customers and opportunities. Ensuring legal, moral and ethical compliance and leading the teams to success. Dealing with all stake holders in a competent and professional manner at all times within the business.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Managing driver schedules, assisting them with directions and planning. Fast paced, strong customer service skills required. Good Microsoft Working knowledge. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, FMCG. Able to communicate effectively at all levels. Managing Quality Management and H+S throughout the business. To be part of a one week in three ‘on call team’ rota. To drive the operational agenda, policing the standards and expectations.

**THE CANDIDATES**:

Excellent organisation and time management skills
Proficient in using transport software and tools (Full training will be given)
Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards (Full training will be given)
Knowledge of driver’s hours and current regulations (Full training will be given)
Effective communication skills
Ability to work under pressure. This will be a great opportunity for somebody to progress in the transport sector. Experience would be preferred but is not essential.

**WE WILL OFFER YOU**:
£26,000+ salary increasing as time goes on. £2,500 p.a shift payment.
4 weeks holiday plus 8 bank holidays a year
On call payment £15.00 per cover (day) equates to c£1800 per year. Lots of Overtime available

Conduct vehicle accident investigations, NCR’s and audits are carried out and documented evidence. Create a culture of ‘safety first’, with zero tolerance to non-compliance.
