Customer Service Assistant

Would you like to join our friendly retail team based at the Farmyard gift shop which sells a treasure trove of farmyard themed pocket money toys for children, as well as a source of inspired present ideas for the rest of our visitors.

You will uphold our high standards of customer care by engaging with our customers and maintaining excellent product knowledge to help them with their purchases.

Working within a small, friendly team your main duties will include; serving customers, stock control, administration checks, light cleaning, till work and helping in our other retail shops when required.

Whilst you will be given all the training you need to be excellent in this job, you should have excellent customer service skills. Experience of cash handling is beneficial.

You will be working 4 days per week Sunday through to Wednesday. The hours for the role will fluctuate around term time/school holidays as follows:
During term time weekdays will be 12 midday-6pm with weekends being 10am-6pm
During school holidays the hours will increase to be 10am-6pm each day

This is seasonal permanent role, meaning you will work from late March to early January each year. Flexibility will be required as both roles will involve some early starts and late finishes due to the busy Christmas season, this may also involve supporting the Stables gift shop at busy times.
