This is an important role within the Improving Access To Psychological Therapies Programme (IAPT). The post-holder will work within the IAPT service to support the leadership supervision and delivery of high volume low
- intensity interventions.. DHC is going through an exciting period of growth.This is a mixed Clinical and Leadership role working as part of the Senior Team to deliver an exceptional quality, cost effective IAPT service which meets performance targets against quality and productivity measures.

The post holder requires developed clinical experience with demonstrable experience of working as a qualified PWP. They will carry a smaller case load. The main aims of the role is to support the Service Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure the Step 2 team delivers a dynamic, effective and efficient service: To provide effective management of Step 2 service Delivery shared with other Senior PWPs under the guidance of the Step 2 Team Lead. Drawing on developed assessment and treatment skills, delivering Low intensity psychological therapies via telephone, video, computerised CBT and groups.

Duty Clinician shifts including risk assessment and support to the Step 2 and admin teams. Provision of high quality supervision and support the design and implementation of workforce development programmes for staff working in the Step 2 and Admin team within the DHC IAPT Service. To provide highly effective people management including Line Management responsibilities. Support the development of both clinical and operational aspects of Step 2 service development
- e.g.

Long Term Condition Pathways and groups. To be an innovator who embraces change and strives for excellence. To develop integrated working across a range of professionals within Primary Care Networks.
