Manchester, United Kingdom Coop Full time

**Senior Advisor - Billing & Admin**
£21,255 - £24,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6C)
Manchester City Centre
- We’re now working in a hybrid way, with colleagues dividing their time between home/remote working and the office. For this role, you'll need to travel into our Manchester office at least twice per week. You can find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy_

We’re looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Billing & Admin team at Co-op and help to manage the invoicing and distributing of funds generated by our Food Commercial teams. You’ll also work with our suppliers to handle disputes, using your own initiative to identify and recommend the best possible solutions. We’ll also look to you to prepare ACRs as well as any ad-hoc KPI and MI reports, as required by the business. If you have the experience in planning and coordinating a team’s workload, and the strong IT skills that we’re looking for, we can offer you the chance to build your career with a business that puts people at the heart of its strategy.

**What you’ll do**
- collate information and prepare reports on the relevant cash figures, sharing this with the Senior Finance Manager
- ensure all Independent society claims are receipted to agreed timescales, raising any issues as necessary
- collate all completed FRTS Multisave claims, and process all relevant supplier invoices
- process and manage supplier disputes, using your own initiative to recommend potential solutions, while providing an accurate and comprehensive audit trail of any adjustments made
- make sure that daily/weekly processes are completed within agreed timescales
- support and guide the team through the implementation of SAP and becoming an SME
- lead on the training of new/current colleagues; providing support, supervision, and guidance as required

**This role would suit people who have**
- strong IT and Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
- experience in planning and coordinating a team’s workload
- the ability to understand and deliver against customer requirements
- experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- a willingness to learn new skills and take a proactive approach to challenges
- experience in a record to report environment would be beneficial, but isn’t essential

**Why Co-op?**

Here you will do work that matters. We are a commercial organisation with a purpose beyond profit, and you’ll have an opportunity to help us build a stronger Co-op and stronger communities. You’ll also get a package that includes
- competitive salary
- coaching, training, and support to help you develop
- pension with up to 10% employer contributions
- annual incentive scheme
- Wagestream - a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
- 28 days holiday (rising to 32 in line with service) plus bank holidays
- YuLife - an app that rewards you for exercising with discounts and vouchers for many of the UK’s biggest brands
- discounts on Co-op products and services

**Building an inclusive work environment**

We'll ask whether you’d like to be considered under the Disability Confident scheme when you apply.

If we invite you to take part in the recruitment process for any of our jobs, we’ll ask you if you need any reasonable adjustments to enable you to participate.

You can find out more about our recruitment process at jobs.coop.co.uk/apply-process
