**About the Role**
As a Learning Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting learners throughout their educational journey. Your primary objective will be to assist them in achieving their learning goals, maintaining their motivation, and overcoming any obstacles they encounter during their programme. Collaborating closely with curriculum delivery teams, you will provide valuable support-related information to ensure that learners are enrolled in appropriate learning programmes tailored to their individual needs. By conducting learning support interviews and initial assessments, you will identify specific learning support requirements and evaluate the necessary assistance.
It will be your responsibility to maintain accurate records of learning support activities, ensuring that individual learning support plans and strategies are promptly generated, monitored, and updated. As a Learning Mentor, you will provide personalised learning support to individuals on a one-on-one basis, as well as in small groups or within larger classroom settings as required. Furthermore, you will create opportunities for learners to develop their independent learning skills and encourage them to become self-reliant whenever possible.
