Care Navigator

We are offering an exciting opportunity in primary care and work in a friendly environment with a group of experienced receptionists and health care workers.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Receptionist who understands the needs and demands of General Practice so previous experience is essential:
- Previous experience in primary care - It is an advantage if you have worked for at least 6 months in the past 2 years at a primary care location
- Experience with medical systems - the ability to use EMIS. Knowledge of reporting software is a plus.
- Ability to register new patients, book/ cancel appointments, slot GP clinics, etc
- Experience on the telephone - taking patient calls and signposting them effectively.
- Ensure correspondence, reports, results etc. are filed electronically in correct patient record.
Ability to commute to Oldbury, Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
