**Team Leader - Casualty EL / PL**
Our Casualty team are looking for a Team Leader to join the Horwich office. As well as being a supportive Team Leader, someone who can lead, encourage, mentor and develop members of your team you will have still have the opportunity to run your own reducedcaseload.
The team deal with litigated, EL / PL, non-delegated authority files up to £100K. There will be a supervisory element to the role helping develop team members technically as well as day-to-day management.
The overall aim of the role will be to continuously improve the quality of the team’s work, seek new ways to continuously improve standards in accordance with client’s SLA’s whilst delivering the commercial benefit to Keoghs.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Line management responsibilities for a team of approx. 8 file handlers & file handler assistants:
- Objective setting and supporting members to achieve
- Monthly 121’s on an individual basis
- Regular Team Meetings
- dentify and implement appropriate learning activities
- Plan and distribute workloads
- Ensure compliance with benchmarks, drive settlements and ensure quality of delivery
- Opportunity to continue running own caseload
- Deliver supervision and to the fulfilment of personal targets.
- Manage client finances & control team cost
- Monitor and keep on target bill approval, client account balances, 10 week WIP and other financial measures
- Act as the first point of contact for client complaints, taking swift action to resolve issues
- To work in conjunction with Supervisors to ensure the delivery of a quality product to clients
- Complete ad-hoc projects and process updates
**Recruitment Criteria**:
- Strong knowledge of all stages of the litigated claims handling process for Casualty claims
- Demonstrate prior experience of;
- Successfully leading a team to deliver on outcomes in insurance/legal sector
- Successfully supervising a litigated caseload and developing individuals
