To provide an efficient administrative service across Specialist Services within Surrey Downs Health and Care.
We have an exciting opportunity arise for a Patient Services Administrator to join our Specialist Services Team within Surrey Downs Health and Care and be primarily based at Leatherhead Community Hospital. Your role will also include supporting the Specialist Services in maintaining a high standards with regard to administration duties and you will be asked to complete a range of tasks. You may be asked to travel and work at any SDHC Clinic Reception area site when required.
Your role will be to provide a patient focused service by responding to queries on the phone from patients, referrers, staff and managing appointments and queries across the division. The post holder will also cover within our Single Point of Access when required. The SPA processes large amounts of referrals on behalf of various services and manages waiting lists.
1. Work within a newly formed Specialist Services Administration team and administer an efficient and cost effective administrative service across the Community Services division.
2. Provide a patient focused service by responding to all queries from patients, referrers and staff in a timely and professional manner
3. Manage patient appointments for patients who attend community based clinics
4. Work within the Community to cover clinic receptions, when required.
5. Work with telephonic equipment and software used to support the Single point of Access.
